Renee Daniel Flagler is a writer who has served in marketing, promotions and events for over ten years. Professionally, her writing has been featured in business and consumer newsletters, magazines, ads, brochures, websites and sales & media kits nationwide.

Flagler has always treasured the art of writing since she was a young girl and expressed her delight in the form of short stories, poetry, lyrics and screen plays. Her first published work was a poem featured in her high school year book.

Author Renee Flagler has been selected as a featured author to sign, Mountain High, Valley Low at the Houston Black Film and Book to Film Festival in Houston Texas, February 23-26, 2006. The Houston Black Film and Festival was founded in June of 2004.

Houston Black Film and Book Film Festival aims to harness proactive ways in which to bring authors to the big screen. Houston Black Film and and Book Film Festival will feature published titles that readers insist plays like a movie.

Book to Film is a new online nesting place for authors set apart from other literary sites. Book to Film focuses on book adaptations to film. Book to Film differs from screenwriting sites, in that they only accept screenplays that are derived from books. They also differ in that their panelist are comprised of a world where avid readers work directly with a panel of producers to bring the right property to fruition. Their book reviewers, book clubs and the actors themselves are included in the process of our selection in securing the rights of future film projects by being panel members.
